"The celebration was announced by the UN on India’s initiative. It will take place on 21 June in many countries around the world, including in Russia, in Moscow. We will be holding a large event at Sokolniki park which will gather together no less than 2000 people,” said the ambassador.

He added that the Indian government wanted to hold the celebration in regional capitals in order to tell people about yoga and its benefits.

Anatoly Lokot supported the ambassador’s initiative, noting that it was very interesting project and easily carried out. "I will give instructions on the matter to the relevant specialists and we will provide any area in Novosibirsk, in any park zones, where it will be possible to hold master classes and other events ", said the mayor.
